Diversion

Cayuga Diversion Case Management (DCM) A home and community-based program designed specifically to provide services to youth who are at risk of entry into the juvenile justice system, and to ‘divert’ youth away from involvement in the criminal justice system. Services will be provided to youth ages 13-16 in Cayuga County, providing an alternative to detention through intensive case management, restorative justice efforts, and MI as an evidence-based tool to implement long-term behavior change.

Diversion intakes are completed by probation officers and then referred through the FAST team.
